Possible Pending Global Disaster

World powers know about a possible pending destruction, but are not announcing it, in order to take advantage of the common man’s ignorance…

The main stream media has focused mainly on the global unrest and have remained quiet of environment situations. Governments have remained quiet. Scientists have stayed mum for now. [Read more…]

5 DIY Off-Grid Projects For This Summer

5 DIY Off-Grid Projects For This Summer

In this day and age, we are all searching for alternative/renewable sources of energy and the sun looks like an obvious answer to our needs.

Since the sun is producing an enormous quantity of energy every day and will hopefully continue to do that for billions of years into the future, all we have to do is harness at least a fraction of this energy and we’ll be able to live off the grid for eternity. That’s the theory, at least. [Read more…]

We Asked a Military Expert How Scared We Should Be of an EMP Attack

We Asked a Military Expert How Scared We Should Be of an EMP Attack

Electromagnetic pulses, or EMPs, usually show up in pop culture as a temporary way to disable electronics. In Ocean’s Eleven, one knocks out a casino’s power supply during a heist. In the Matrix movies, an EMP is a CGI energy blast that Morpheus uses to stop the Sentinels from attacking Zion.

In real life, however, EMPs are a potential threat to national security.

First imagined as a troubling after effect in the wake a nuclear attack, EMPs have recently reemerged as non-nuclear e-bombs that silently attack precious electricity. A burst of energy that fries electronic circuits within a blast radius, an EMP could theoretically knock out a power grid if it were large enough. That in turn could send a major city back to the Stone Age, or knock out a strategically significant military installation in an instant. [Read more…]

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts – Unemployed America

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts – Unemployed America

As our country and world slip further into the abyss of an economic slow down, the mainstream media only reports lies and propaganda. If we look at the reality of the job market the only jobs being created are, primarily, low wage, retail and service sector jobs. Not one of these job classes manufactures anything. How sustainable is an economy that simply shifts currency from a grocery store clerk, to a restaurant waiter or a nurse at the local hospital then back to the store clerk? This is merely a circle and the currency is trapped. Until someone steps in and creates a product that requires raw materials, from outside sources, and requires someone to sell what is manufactured, our economy can not and will not grow.

When we review the employment information that is produced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) every first Friday of the month the jobs listed above are the only jobs being reported as “improving”. Let’s take a look at what the BLS presented this month.

As you can see the BLS paints a picture that doesn’t really justify any “shadow of crisis” passing. Let’s dig into the truth behind this lie and piece of propaganda.

First question. How many people were fired or lost their job for other reasons, like store closings, bankruptcy? Can anyone say Radio Shack? Sure you can. Radio Shack filed for bankruptcy in February and is planning on closing most of it’s stores. The remainder are being sold to Sprint and General Wireless.

Is that reported when the mainstream media begins screaming about 295k jobs created and unemployment dropping to 5.5%? Not a word. How many people stopped looking for work because they have been unemployed so long they have given up? Silence again. How people are working multiple part-time jobs and would actually like to have full time employment? Crickets.

Now, if we look at the holiday season from 2014, which is basically the last quarter, did we see a retail sector on fire with sales? Well, according to Reuters, holiday sales were down 8%. Not exactly the type of news to make a retailer going on a hiring spree.

(Reuters) – U.S. retail store sales fell 8 percent during the 2014 holiday season despite a late shopping surge, but overall holiday sales should show a 3.5 to 4 percent rise from a year ago because of stronger online buying, analytic s company Retail Next said on Wednesday.

In another sign of disappointing Christmas sales for brick-and-mortar retailers, RetailNext said foot traffic dropped 8.3 percent during November and December versus a year ago at the specialty stores and large retailers it tracks. However, customers who did visit stores spent slightly more on average than a year earlier.[Source]

Target, one of the nations largest retailers just announced they are going to lay off thousands over the next two years.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) – Target Corp. announced Tuesday it will be eliminating several thousand positions over the next two years.
Company officials said many of those jobs will be at Target’s corporate headquarters in Minneapolis. The cuts are part of a dramatic restricting plan to get the company back on track after it lost $2.5 billion in the fourth quarter of last year.

In a presentation to shareholders in New York, top executives stressed the company had lost its way and was caught flat footed as competitors moved more quickly to take advantage of the increasing shift to online shopping and mobile marketing.[Source]

Can someone please explain to me how, in a retail, service based economy with money moving in a circle, is anyone hiring when we see two pieces of economic news that state the exact opposite.

While this is going on the cheerleaders at CNN, CNBC and ALL the mainstream media are parroting the headline numbers of 295,000 “new jobs” and 5.5% unemployment. These clowns get their orders and read the tele-prompter and life is good for them. Bad actors that can not get a real job in an actual movie or commercials. Pathetic.

Let’s give a listen to an economist, author and Father of Reaganomics, who is not afraid to tell you the truth. Who is not afraid to stand up and challenge the talking-head mainstream media clowns and present them, not only, with real questions but real answers.

Energy is the Key to Survival

Energy is the Key to Survival

In physics class we learned that energy is the capacity to do work. We saw earlier that food is the stored energy which makes life possible. Every human activity requires energy. We need it to charge our phones and to heat our homes. From growing our food to cooking it, energy is the key to survival. In this chapter we will explore this important topic and look at sources of energy that we might draw upon during an emergency.
Virtually all of the energy on Earth comes from the Sun. Plants absorb energy directly from sunlight and plant-eating animals get it by consuming plants. Then carnivores eat plant-eating animals and so goes the food chain right to the top where humans are found. The sun’s energy stored in trees is released when we burn wood. The energy stored in plants and animals that died millions of years ago provides us today with the coal, oil and natural gas that we depend on to run our economies. Even the electricity we get from hydroelectric dams comes from the sun, which evaporated the waters which produced the rain and snow which fed the rivers and lakes.

Build Your Own Homemade Electricity Generator – Do it yourself and Save!

viewimage.aspx_Why Make Your Own Electricity

Let’s just say for the sake of discussion, you decide to investigate the feasibility of installing your own home energy power source.

There are many different factors to consider regarding making your own electricity. Government regulations, tax rebates and incentives, community zoning, installation procedures, repair and maintenance costs, location, operating costs…all of these things can influence your decision.

For now though, let’s just take a look at some of the benefits to making your own electricity.

Benefits of Homemade Electricity

Some of the many benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Saving money. Why pay the electric company when you can make it yourself.
  • Making money. If you produce more than you use, the electric company will pay you for the excess.
  • Save the environment.
  • Convenience. Reduce power outages during bad weather. Unless a storm hits your home directly; which of course we hope will never happen, your power will stay on.
  • Remote power where you need it. Become energy independent, live off the grid (not connected to the power company)

U.S. Primary Energy Consumption by Source and Sector, 2008 (Quadrillion Btu)

Saving Money

If your first and foremost concern is to save money, then you might want to consider building your own renewable energy power generator. When it comes to making your own electricity using a renewable energy source, the two most commonly thought of first are wind turbines and solar panels. There are numerous resources available online that can help you build either one that can be purchased for a reasonable price (many of them under $50.00 U.S.).

If you are the handy type who likes to build things there is a wealth of information on the web on how to make your own electricity.

Building your own wind turbine is a great way to get started. It is considerably more economical than purchasing a commercially manufactured unit. You can purchase the materials you need locally or online and build one for under $200.00. Now granted, it may only be able to produce a few hundred watts of power but at least it will give you a good idea of whether your site has the right conditions before you plunk down a $6,000 – $30,000+ investment for a larger model.

The same can be done for solar panels. You can build your own and install them on your rooftop or some other location where they can be sloped to receive the most direct sunlight as possible. If your roof is frequently in the shade of trees or other objects you can mount solar panels on a tower similar to a wind generator, they just don’t need to be elevated quite as high.

The DIY instructions you receive to build your own homemade wind turbine or solar panels will guide you step by step from material acquisition, to construction, all the way to completing the installation. Generally, with small units that you build yourself, you will need to link several of them together to produce a sufficient amount of power to supply your home. This information is provided as well.

Use the Wind to Power Your Home

Use the map below to give you an idea at least of whether you have a reasonable amount of wind to begin with.

If you are in an area that has an acceptable amount of average wind speed, then the next thing you want to do is fine tune your analysis. You can contact local authorities to determine a more specific regional breakdown of the average wind speed for your area. This will be more accurate than the national map, but it will not take into account factors such as trees, surrounding buildings, ground terrain and other obstacles that may affect the wind flow.

Or you can purchase a home weather station that has the capabilities of recording wind data to your home computer and determine precisely the average wind speed for your exact location. If you plan to invest several thousand dollars in your wind turbine, I would strongly recommend doing your own wind study. That way you can get the most accurate readings for your specific installation site.

Convenience – Never Go Without Electricity Again

The simplest and probably fastest solution would be to buy a gas or diesel powered generator.

You can purchase one online or at your local hardware or home center. The size generator (power output is usually rated in watts…i.e. 1000 watts etc.) you need can vary depending on how many circuits you want to power and what types of electrical components (household appliances, lights, water pump, furnace, etc.) are on those circuits.

You can purchase a small gas powered generator of say 1000 – 2500 watts that will power a few lights and a couple of small appliances such as a microwave or a toaster oven for a few hundred dollars.

In addition to the items mentioned above a medium size generator of 3000 – 5000 watts will power most all of your appliances (washer, dryer, water pump, refrigerator, etc.) one or two at a time, but not all at once. Prices range from $400 – $1000.

Most of the small and medium sized generators have a manual start. When the power goes off you need to go out and get them started to get your lights back on.

The simplest method for connecting a small generator is to just run an extension cord from the generator to whatever electrical appliance you want to run.

WARNING: All gas generators must be operated in a well ventilated area. The exhaust fumes from a gas engine are deadly.

Several methods useing generators  for  producing  free energy look here .

If you plan to connect your generator directly to your household electrical circuits you will need to install a transfer switch. A transfer switch is a safety device that prevents your generator from back feeding power back into the power grid. You use it to isolate the specific circuits you want to provide power to, so you don’t overload your generator with too many components.

For the ultimate in convenience a natural gas or propane powered home stand-by generator of 7500 watts and above will power most everything in your home simultaneously just like the power company. As an added convenience, many of them automatically start within seconds of a power outage so you hardly notice the change over to the generator. They operate quietly as long as needed, and automatically shut down and revert back to a stand-by mode when the power comes back on.

Home stand-by generators range in price from $3000 and up depending on the size (number of watts it will produce).

Unless you are experienced in working with electricity, I would strongly suggest hiring an electrician to install your generator.

Electricity – The Future of Energy

Fossil fuels are limited to a finite quantity.  When they’re gone, they’re gone!  Eventually they will be used up.  As the availability diminishes the price will inevitably go up.

Renewable energy such as electricity is the energy of the future.  The paradigm shift to electricity as the primary energy resource has already begun.  Countries around the world have identified the need for an alternative to a dependency on crude oil.

As the demand for electricity increases, so will the price.  Not only for electricity itself, but for the material and supplies needed to produce electricity generators; whether they are wind turbines, solar panels, or any other type of generator.

If you have ever considered installing your own power generator, now would be a good time to get started.  Waiting will only cost you more in the future! For full information just click the photo below !

When your loved ones get hurt or killed

For man to have family means lot of things. Family means a lot of work and worries, but also a lot of happiness. A good family means support when you are having problems or you are in some difficult periods of your life of course.

When SHTF it can work in both ways too, bad and good, but definitely having family will help you more than being alone.

I mentioned many times why it is better to be with other (close) people when SHTF then to be alone. My course where I talk in detail about my experiences in war has many situations that I would not have survived without my family.

There is one other side to that, during SHTF when anarchy and fighting for survival means violence and you see people close to you get hurt or killed.

Lots of people here in my country have gone through that, including me, and of course after first reactions that are common to all of us (grief, anger, sadness…) we react different.

How we managed to cope with the pain, formed our whole future life, it formed us, destroyed some, and even gave strength to few.

When you lose someone because of illness or old age or traffic accident, maybe you may accuse bad health system, or similar, or even God, but eventually you will say „It is life, we all gonna die, it is how it is supposed to be“.

But when you lost someone close because someone shot him during a fight between two opposite groups (because they different, or because the hate each other, or just because one group wanted resources from another group) it is different.

Or let s just say that you are watching your close friend or family member dying because you lack some medicine after everything collapsed, but you know that there is medicine for some people there, and no medicine for others, because of power, wealth, politic or religious reasons.

It can change your whole perspective of life. It can put lots of RAGE in you.

And it is RAGE written in capitals. It lasts for years, and it can drive all your decisions, it can consume you at the end.

I’ve seen (and still see) lot of people here with it.

One example would be guy who watched how his family was killed just because they are different nationality from the killers.

He survived because he played dead, later he said that actually it was not about playing, he simply was shocked and paralyzed. He was 13, he survived his wounds and grew up into man whose mission is to prepare for the next SHTF event, next war.

He finds his meaning of life in preparing for the next SHTF, but with lots of hate and rage, he became obsessed with hating other groups of people, who killed his family, and actually at the end he became like them. He is alone now, no family, just hate.

All his life has become about preparing for revenge. Rage and hate is driving him. He keeps talking about big day of payback. His mission is to make other people lose their families like he lost his one.

Other example is man who lost his daughter who was 9 years old. She suffocated inside burning house that other folks turned on fire, he survived.

He had some period of hard drinking, after that he turned himself towards religion. His life is now about love and forgiveness. He is in some NGO that is trying to create dialogue between victims from all sides. He is alone too and obsessed with his mission.

I drink coffee with him sometimes, he is all into love and forgiveness. He is not really preparing for next SHTF event because he is believing in „non violent solving of problems“ and similar.

Both guys, stories, and examples are how things can end up.

I drink sometimes coffee with the hateful guy too. Where he gives me „adrenaline“, other guy gives me „peace“.
I like both of them for what they are but if you ask me now, I think that for the future SHTF event, they are both running into major problems with their ideas.

First one is blind because of his hate, other dude because of his love. I think (and that is only my opinion) that they both take wrong lessons from their experiences.

It is not all about love and not all about hate. You may call me idiot but yeah too much love and faith into the people may (and will) kill you eventually too.

As I said, I ve lost family members and friends too, and I had my portion of coping with that. And it was not perfect, I had periods when RAGE „colored“ my life dark red, when all my actions were driven by it.

Luckily I overcame that. I have not get ridden of my RAGE but toned it down, so rage now. Probably it is not even possible, but I kinda learned to control it. Sometimes it still controls me, but it is rare.

I like to think that love and hate are parts of life (rage too) and too much of each one can misguide you actually. It is just me, maybe I am wrong. At the end of day, survival is about having options.

Use your love to form strong connections with your group, use your hate to have energy and motivation to reach your goals (but do not let any of these emotions control you).

Have good time with people close to you in coming days. No matter what your mission is, nothing is worth to be alone.

You should know generating your own renewable energy

Generating your own electricity can suit some people depending on their location and situation, and there are a number of small scale technologies available. But it pays to do your homework before you make any investments.

If you have a house or other property that either can’t be connected to the grid, or would be very expensive to connect, then small scale, or micro generation is usually the cheapest, or only option. However if you are already connected to the grid then the upfront cost of setting up a small scale generation system means you are unlikely to get any reduction in energy cost over the life of the system. Energy conservation and efficiency is likely to be a much cheaper and more effective option for you if you want to reduce your energy bills. If you are interested in reducing your energy related carbon emissions, then making changes to your transport choices will have the biggest and most cost effective impact.

Grid connected systems

Grid connected systems allow you to generate your own electricity without needing a battery bank. At times when your micro-generation doesn’t meet your electricity needs, or you aren’t using all the electricity you are generating, the grid provides a back-up, acting as a battery. These systems are also called grid-tied, or grid-interactive, and can use one or a combination of any small scale generation technologies.

The electricity grid acting as a battery isn’t a free service though. You will buy electricity from the grid at retail prices, but generally get less than retail for excess electricity you sell back into the grid. The amount you get for excess electricity you sell, the “buy back” price, is set by the electricity retailer you use, and is the main factor that determines the economics of a grid connected system.

Stand-alone power systems (SAPS)

In situations where connecting to the grid is very expensive, it can cost as much $25,000 per kilometre, a stand-alone power system can be an attractive economic alternative. Stand-alone power systems generally use a combination of renewable generation sources, a battery bank, smart controller/inverter and often some kind of back-up like a diesel generator.

Generation technologies

The generation technologies that you can use are the same for both types of system and include solar PV, micro hydro and small wind turbines.

  • Micro-hydro systems for houses and buildings are less than 5kW, and in many cases less than 1kW. Small-scale hydro is best suited to rural areas on streams or waterways that flow all year round. The more vertical distance (head) you have between the point where you take the water and where the turbine is located the more electricity you can generate.
  • Solar PV systems convert solar energy to electricity. Arrays of solar PV (PhotoVoltaic) panels can be sized to suit the space available. Domestic PV systems tend to be in the 1 to 3 kW range, with each kW covering an area of roughly eight square metres.
  • Small wind turbines are suitable if you are in a location with consistent, strong wind. New Zealand has one of the best wind resources in the world giving us the opportunity to generate renewable electricity with no ongoing greenhouse gas emissions.

Why isn’t small-scale generation subsidised in New Zealand?

New Zealand is in a different situation from most other countries when it comes to renewable energy use, with 77% of our electricity coming from renewable sources and all new future generation expected to be renewable as well. This means that there are not the same benefits from promoting or subsidising small scale electricity generation in New Zealand as there are in other countries.
