Where Will You Go When North Korean Agents Release Biological Weapons In Major U.S. Cities?

weapons

Most Americans have no idea that biological weapons could potentially bring our nation to a complete and utter standstill within a matter of days.  In recent articles I have been trying to get people to understand why it would be so exceedingly dangerous for the United States to attack North Korea.  If the North Koreans used weapons of mass destruction, we could easily be facing a situation in which millions of North Korean and Japanese citizens end up dead.  But since it would happen on the other side of the planet, such a scenario doesn’t seem to emotionally move a lot of people.  So today, I want to try to get people to understand the immense devastation that just a handful of North Korean agents could cause inside our own country. The Global Famine Begins: UN Announces That The Worst Food Crisis Since World War II Is Happening Right Now

Famine

The Global Famine Begins

We always knew that this would start happening.  Earlier this month, I wrote about the severe economic problems that are plaguing South America, but up to this point I have neglected to discuss the horrific famines that are breaking out all over Africa.  Right now there is a desperate need for food in South Sudan, Somalia, northeast Nigeria, Eritrea and Kenya.  And Yemen, even though it is not technically part of Africa, is being affected by many of the same factors that are crippling nations all over eastern Africa.  The United Nations says that more than 20 million people could die from starvation and disease if nothing is done.  When I write about economic collapse, this is the kind of thing that I am talking about, and we are starting to see alarming conditions spread across the globe.  Many believe that we could never possibly face this kind of food crisis in the western world, but unfortunately wishful thinking will only get you so far. Solar Flares : Coming To A Town Near You

Most people enjoy the feeling of the sun on their skin. Warm sunny weather makes us feel better, we can get outside without a dozen layers of clothes, the flowers start to bloom…the lawn needs cutting, unfortunately, but for the most part we like the sun.

Until the advent of electricity a major flare, CME or EMP getting thrown off by the sun wouldn’t have been an issue, life would have carried on just as it always had.  NIBIRU Indeed, if a massive flare happened tomorrow people in many parts of the world would fail to notice, because they aren’t reliant on electricity. What creates food crises? — How to Prepare For the Coming Food Crisis

Opposed to what people think: Food Crisis are very common. In fact there are countries and regions which are going through one right now. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that nearly 870 million people, or one in eight, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2010-2016. Almost all the hungry people, 852 million, live in developing countries. But there are 16 million people undernourished in developed countries including US.

Warning : The New World Order  Plans For 2016-2017 — Your Life Is About To Change! Part 1-2

The NWO Pope, Pope Francis, who stated World War III has already begun, made another chilling comment when in early December he stated: “While the world starves, burns and descends further into chaos, we should realize that this year’s Christmas celebrations, for those who choose to celebrate, IT MAY BE THEIR LAST. By this time next year the world will likely be UNRECOGNIZABLE.”

FUTURE SHOCK 2016-2020: Your Life Is About To Change! Part 1

Get ready…your world is about to be turned UPSIDE DOWN! The corrupt, criminal regime currently occupying Washington D.C. is starting to lose its grip on America. The American people are tired of being lied to. Smart Americans are “waking up” in droves to the reality of our nation’s leadership and financial critical condition. They’re tired of been propagandized, controlled and imprisoned by an illegitimate totalitarian regime that trashes our Constitution, Bill of Rights and is stamping out our individual liberties. The proof is the popularity of Donald Trump and Ben Carson. Establishment politicians are as “radioactive” as the Fukushima nuclear site. [Read more…]

10 Worst Disease Outbreaks of the Century

From the Black Plague in the Middle Ages to the HIV/AIDS epidemic affecting the 21st century, the weirdest diseases have a way of making their way across the world. Some weird diseases result in mass deaths while others hit individuals in rare circumstances. Others including the world’s worst skin diseases have left the world plagued by scars and bad memories. Here are the top 10 Worst Diseases that have left a lasting impression on humanity.

  1. Ebola Virus

Today this is one of the most interesting diseases because of its reemergence on a global scale. The recent outbreaks of Ebola that have spread from Africa to North America have everyone in a panic. This is mainly because of the lack of medical knowledge being spread among U.S. medical staff on how to contain and manage patients with the worst disease ever to strike the world in 2014. After all, this disease is historically been contained on the African continent. According to the World Health Organization, the Ebola virus first came to be in 1976 when Zaire and Sudan experienced outbreaks. It is a zoonotic virus that has devastated lowland gorilla populations in Central Africa. Worse yet, there has yet to be a way to contain the virus, leaving it to spread like wildfire. Those who contract Ebola have a 80 to 90 percent chance of dying often due to organ failure or hypovolemic shock, as symptoms of the disease. Other symptoms of Ebola include diarrhea, malaise, fever and bleeding both internally and externally.doc1

  1. HIV/AIDS

HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus, and AIDS, the acquired immune deficiency syndrome, is one of the most devastating and bad diseases to strike humankind in the modern era. First associated with being spread among those in the gay male community, it is since been discovered to be transmitted through HIV containing bodily fluids including blood, breast milk, preseminal fluid, semen and vaginal fluid. HIV is a virus that cannot be cured, but there are several treatment options available for patients due to decades of extensive research. AIDS is the latter stage of HIV, and it occurs as a result of immune system damage resulting from HIV. The majority of patients of AIDS die due to associated infections and tumors that are the result of the disease’s effects on the human body and internal system. The way to transmit HIV or AIDS is through sexual contact in the form of oral, vaginal or anal, as well as through blood transfusions or the use of contaminated needles. Mothers can transmit the virus to babies through breastfeeding, pregnancy or childbirth. While the virus is believed to have come from Sub-Saharan Africa, where 70 percent of the total cases of HIV were reported in 2013 as noted by the CDC. It is now a global pandemic with more than 35 million HIV affected individuals as of 2013.

  1. Smallpox

By far the worst disease to affect the world in the colonization of the Western Hemisphere, smallpox is believed to have destroyed the majority of the Native American and Pre-Columbian Southern American populations. Indian tribes contracted it from the Pilgrims, and the Spaniards passed it along to the Mayans and Aztecs, resulting in the colonization of these continents. Today smallpox is little more than a history lesson that is known for creating weird skin conditions in the form of pox, as it has been completely wiped off the earth as the only virus to have been completely destroyed. However, for those a few hundred years ago, if contracted, it could cause death in 30 out of 100 victims. Effects of smallpox includes tell-tale scars often on the faces of victims due to pox marks. Infertility among males who survive from smallpox, as well as blindness among many survivors, are the results of smallpox. In the 18th century the virus killed approximately 60 million people in Europe including five of the monarchs as the reigned on European thrones.

  1. Malaria

Travel to African, Asian and American regions that are tropical or subtropical requires the prevention of malaria. Of the list of strange diseases, malaria continues to be one of the most threatening. According to the CDC this is a mosquito-borne virus that affects more than 515 million people annually. It kills the majority of its victims in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa where treatment is lacking and malnutrition is rampant. As one of the strangest diseases of the modern day, there exists a serious public health crisis stemming from malaria. In fact, there has yet to be a vaccine developed that will prevent malaria. Preventative drugs can be taken, but are difficult and expensive to come by for those living in highly susceptible regions.

  1. Cholera

Cholera continues to threaten the lives of humans, with reports of outbreaks in Mexico as recently as in 2013 according to the CDC. On the list of bizarre diseases, cholera strikes by causing extreme diarrhea. It can be fatal within 2 to 3 hours after symptoms set in due to its hypotensive nature, if left untreated. Cholera is shared via water and food that has been contaminated with the virus. In typical scenarios the disease causes diarrhea in 4 to 12 hours after contamination followed by death within as few as 18 hours if rehydration treatment is not provided.

  1. Polio

Referred to as polio, poliomyelitis is the result of a virus spread from individuals via the mouth and through fecal matter. The biggest issue with polio is that it can lead to a variety of strange symptoms if it gets into the individual’s blood stream. For less than 1 percent of polio victims, they will experience the virus in their central nervous system. Once there, it will cause muscle weakness and paralysis by destroying motor neurons.

  1. The Flu

Influenza, aka the flu, is passed from mammals and birds. There are several types of the flu including Avian flu and Swine flu, as well as stomach flu and the 24-hour flu. Those who contract this nasty virus can be infected again due to the virus being airborne and highly contagious for weeks after it is first contracted. Symptoms of the common seasonal flu, which often strikes from October to January for the Northern Hemisphere, or during the winter months, is a fever, muscle pain, weakness, headache and sore throat. Specific types of the flu have certain symptoms, such as the stomach flu that causes diarrhea and vomiting. Young children and the elderly are most susceptible to the resulting pneumonia, which is often associated with the flu due to the weakening of the immune system. In these cases, fatalities are not uncommon.

  1. The Black Plague

Before smallpox, the Black Plague or Black Death struck the Eastern Hemisphere from Europe to Asia. It was one of the most devastating and unusual diseases to wreak havoc on humanity. After all, it was spread by rats who carried fleas with the virus, which would bite their victims and leave them believing that some sort of evil or witchcraft was at play. During its onset in the late 1340s to the time the disease died out, it killed more than 75 million humans across the globe, including up to two-thirds of the population of Europe.

  1. Tuberculosis

When tuberculosis strikes, symptoms of heavy sweating, fever, excessively thick mucus, weight loss, and fatigue accompany this virus. Among the list of crazy diseases, TB ranks at the top. As a bacterial infection, tuberculosis spreads directly into the lungs where it can cause the infected person to be unable to breathe unassisted. It can also spread into other organs. Some people who are affected can go for years without seeing symptoms due to the virus being stagnant. However, those who are already experiencing a weaker immune system, such as those with HIV/AIDS, the elderly, infants and those in chemotherapy, are more likely to die from TB contraction. Other risk factors for this one of not so cool diseases is living among unsanitary conditions or having a poor diet.

      10. COPDsurvivalmd_newcover

The full name for COPD is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is a leading killer around the world, and it is a type of lung disease. A result of smoking tobacco or exposure to toxic fumes or gases is the most common reason for COPD. The most common problem with victims of COPD is chronic bronchitis, which creates heavy mucus and difficulties with breathing often associated with chronic coughing. The latter and worst case scenario is that the person contracts emphysema, a disease that destroys the lungs and leads to death. While not everyone who is exposed to smoke or gas fumes will get COPD, this is one of those weird genetic disorders that will strike some people as a result of family history and genetics.

Whether you are interested in funny diseases or weird skin diseases, the best way to prevent the spread of disease is through knowledge. By understanding the science behind viruses you are more capable to preventing yourself from being victim to the spread of disease.(source)

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

This is a good motto to live by, despite how you think about things.

Individuals can still hope for the best (that things can and will eventually work out), but what

good is your prosperity going to do if you don’t have anything to eat or a safe place to hang out

for an extended period of time?

Why not prepare while you still can — when things are readily available and can still be

purchased at cheap prices? The coming hyper-inflation will make any such purchases beforehand

look very intelligent…

To prepare for the worst, you need a plan. Why are most people so against doing basic

preparations that could be the difference on how they survive — or whether they survive?

History shows time and again that those who prepare always fare better than those who did not.

Having a plan and being determined to act on that plan will always be the best way to handle any

contingencies, should they occur.

After disaster strikes, your mind is going to be racing around like a car on a race track. Preplanning and having a written set of measures to take will make someone’s life go much

smoother when the SHTF.

How to deal with diseases in long term survival situations

diseasesHow to deal with diseases

There are great concerns about possible Ebola pandemic spreading outside Africa, media is bombarding us with this information. We also have ongoing discussion with interesting updates on our forum.

You can read all sorts of information online, like possible reasons for fast spreading in Africa including religious beliefs and rituals there where people handled bodies without proper knowledge, contributing to the fast spreading. They also say that lack of general knowledge about diseases, hygiene and eating bush meat along with lack of training of local medical professionals caused the mess. Interesting to read, no doubt.

They also say that there is no way of some doomsday scenario of sick person getting onto regular flight, contaminating everyone, because it spreads through body fluids only etc.

All good info, but somewhere at the end of article there is one sentence that goes like this: „… so there is clearly no reason for panic…“

As I said few times before, whenever someone from government, law enforcement, or similar says „no reason for panic“ I get strong urge to buy more ammo (food, water, gas masks…).

OK, I’m a burned man and had bad experience from listening to similar statements, if you are member of my course you know what kind of messages we heard even in days before we were surrounded in the city with no way out.

SurvivalMD 1

Just use common sense here. Would media really ever say it is time to panic? It is time to prepare? No. This would cause chaos and some people would overreact. Not show up to work anymore, this could lead to collapse itself. People do not think for themselves anymore so media to certain degree has to always calm people down. It is how the system works.

Panic is bad in any case. Reading how scared some preppers are, some people seem to be in constant state or emergency. This makes no sense and just life miserable. We prepare for every possibility to not be in panic mode.
First be prepared, then do not panic. Of course stay alert and use common sense.

Ebola is scary, and it can become big problem for sure, but just like sharks kill just about 10 people every year and elephants kill 10 times more, it is often what we perceive as harmless that can cause biggest problems. Survival is a lot about seeing dangers where they are. In this sense you should make sure your bathroom is not slippery because many people die by slipping in shower. Today I write about the regular killers I experienced during my time in war.

Wound Infections
It does not have to be big wound to get you into the trouble. When SHTF small cut can kill (literally). In world where there is no proper medical care you need to be ready to deal with problems like this.
During my SHTF time there were lots of troubles with wound infections. Everything from minor cuts to bullet wounds had chance to be infected.

We treated infected wounds with what we had, over time with less and less resources it mostly became simple water cleaning, and local mixtures of things for treating infections. Recipes were different, from pine pieces to onions on wounds and similar, and of course local alcohol beverages.

Sometimes we had antibiotics, mostly we did not. Results were very random. What worked for one guy sometimes did not work for someone else. Some people died, others became crippled. For future SHTF scenarios I suggest to learn as more as you can about wound treatment.

How to clean and close wound and how to use antibiotics on proper way.Remember that simply procedures like wound closing with steri strips can save you lot of troubles later, of course as more as you know (suturing, staples) it is better, and do not fall under the influence of movies, for example no, tourniquet is NOT always best choice for bleeding (mostly it is last), and simple covering of the wound with sterile 4×4 can do miracles later for preventing infections.
Store normal saline, iodine, peroxide and similar for wound treatment.
Learn how to do pain management, I did it many times with simple alcohol drink, it does not work well always. Again forget about movies.
Good advice to know how to use what you have, having needle and sutures without knowledge does not make too much sense.
Do not blindly follow advertisements about „miracle first aid kit for all SHTF troubles“ you may end up with useless stuff in nice cammo bag. Like in all areas of life today, people try to also sell snake oil and miracle solutions in survival area. Knowledge is king.
Of course there is good stuff around to buy, but be sure to check what you get, good idea is to ask your friend who is in medical field what you actually gonna get in that kit, or even better to assemble your own. I have listed some suggestions what should be in every basic first aid kit here and Cajun who is medical professional like me lists his first aid kit from his bug out bag in our forum.

Food (and water) poisoning
You can be sure that sooner or later you will have to deal with this. It is not only dangerous to be crippled with diarrhoea and vomiting because at the end it can kill you, but also it can make you so weak that you can not perform your duties.

In SHTF that means that you are too weak to defend yourself, or to go out and gather resources and similar, and that is bad. Again, thats why groups are important and lone wolfs have odds against them.I think that everyone was poisoned with bad food or water at least once during my SHTF time. We dealt with it with teas and simply trying to give the person more water than he is losing it.

There were casualties of course, mostly very old or very young.First line of defense would be hygiene. Be very serious with it when SHTF. Have plan how to keep yourself and your home (and food and water) clean when SHTF. It is much better to think more about preventing that stuff to happen by how you store your food and handle it instead of having great first aid kit to treat the problems.

Mistake that people often make in case of diarrhoea and vomiting is that they try to consume too much water too fast and that causes more harm than good. Point is to consume fluids very slowly and in small amounts. For example one sip of fluids every 20 minutes or similar, take rest and be careful with water and food intake in next 24 hours.

Already sick people
I know many people think that when we experience breakdown of system and total collapse everything will be about adrenaline, fighting, chaos and blood.

This is part of it, but mostly, especially in first weeks people who lived with small conditions are going to experience them much worse. Think about what small problems you might have at the moment that can become huge if you have to live survival lifestyle with heavy physical work every day, maybe lack of sleep, extreme stress and less hygiene. Problems will be multiplied many times.

For example your uncle had high blood pressure for years, he is on pills, and his family tries to „force“ him to eat healthy, and it is working more or less, but every now and then he ends up in emergency room because his blood pressure goes dangerously up. When SHTF what is the plan to regulate his high BP, and for how long you have stash of pills for him? Or how he is gonna be able to eat healthy or similar when SHTF? From my experience in survival situations, these people are the first to go.

Solution could be to try to regulate his blood pressure today as good as you can, to have stashed good amount of medication for him, and of course to learn everything about alternative means of treating that condition (with herbs for example). Point is to do all this today, because when SHTF you may not have chance or enough time for that.

0MD

As heartless as it sounds but also think about what to do with people who are against prepping today and who you know will run into serious problems once normal system is not there to support them anymore. Who will be angry and cause problems in your group if you simply decide to leave that sick uncle to his fate? At some point you have to know when train is full and you are leaving and it makes sense to think about this before.

Extremely Contagious Pig Virus Has Already Killed More Than 4 Million Hogs In The U.S.

Pigs-Photo-by-Maqi-450x299If you eat pork, get ready to pay a lot more for it.  A highly contagious pig virus known as “Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus” has now spread to 27 different U.S. states, and it has killed more than 4 million hogs since last May.  Smithfield Foods, the largest pork producer in the entire world, estimates that approximately 10 percent of all adult female hogs in America have contracted the disease already, and there is a very good chance that any offspring that they have will die.  That is because the mortality rate for this disease for piglets is between 80 and 100 percent.  Fortunately, we are being told that this disease does not affect humans.  However, considering the fact that California is in the midst of one of the worst droughts in recorded history, and considering the fact that the U.S. cattle herd has shrunk for seven years in a row, this pig virus is coming at a very, very bad time.

diseaseless

And the frightening thing is that the spread of this disease appears to be accelerating.  Back in January, it had only been found in 22 states.  But now, it has been found in 27 states…

Arizona is the latest state to confirm cases of the deadly Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus, a highly contagious pig disease, increasing the tally of U.S. states with confirmed cases to 27, a group of animal health researchers said.

According to Reuters, there are 4,458 cases that authorities are currently monitoring.  But it is important to keep in mind that a single case can represent “an entire herd”…

Confirmed cases of PEDv increased by 274 in the week ending March 8, bringing the total number to 4,458 in 27 states.

While one case can represent an individual animal or an entire herd at a single site, hog industry analysts estimate PEDv has killed between 4 million and 5 million U.S. hogs since it was discovered in May 2013.

PEDv, which does not affect humans and is not a food safety risk, causes diarrhea, vomiting and severe dehydration in pigs. While older pigs have a chance of survival, 80 to 100 percent of piglets that contract it die.

This is a disease which can be spread from mothers to their children, and that is why it is so troubling that approximately 10 percent of all adult females now have this virus.  The following is an excerpt from a recent Fox News article.

Smithfield Foods Inc., the world’s largest pork producer, and other meatpackers estimate that about 10% of the nation’s sows, or adult female hogs, have been infected by the virus, which can spread to their offspring.

Perhaps you are thinking that you will just start eating more beef for a while.

And under normal circumstances, that would be no problem at all.

Unfortunately, the beef industry is having huge problems right now as well because of the horrible drought in the western half of the country.  The total size of the U.S. cattle herd has been shrinking for seven years in a row, and it is now the smallest that it has been since 1951.Dis56

But today we have more than twice as many people as we had back in 1951.

So we have got a huge problem.  Our cattle herd is shrinking and an extremely contagious virus is killing off our pigs.

This isn’t a major crisis just yet, but if these trends continue we will definitely get there.

But even if a major crisis is averted somehow, without a doubt the price of meat in America is going to be rising for quite some time to come.

And perhaps it is fitting that a pig virus is sweeping the nation, because we have literally become “pig people” in the eyes of the rest of the world.

We like to think of ourselves as “good examples” that the rest of the world should follow, but the truth is that pretty much all that we are giving the rest of the world these days are really, really bad examples.

As I was researching this piece, I came across an article about how one of the most popular performers in America had someone literally vomit on her while she was performing her hit song “Swine”…

Pop star Lady Gaga is known for her shocking outfits and antics. But what she did on stage Thursday night at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, has left even some of the most desensitized critics calling it “ridiculous” and “sick.”

While performing her song “Swine,” the singer was joined by someone named Millie Brown. Brown is an artist of sorts who specializes in painting with…vomit. That’s right, she ingests colored liquid and then sticks her fingers down her throat and literally vomits all over a canvas. On Thursday, Brown did just that — except there was no canvas: She vomited a green liquid onto Lady Gaga.

Really?

Is this what our country has turned into?

For many more examples such as this one, please see two of my previous articles entitled “16 Examples That Show The United States Has Become A Seriously Messed Up Country” and “55 Things About America You May Not Know“.

The sad thing is that Lady Gaga has tens of millions of adoring fans in this nation, and stunts like these only tend to increase her popularity.

Now that we have gotten to the point where having someone vomit on a woman is considered to be “entertainment”, it is hard to be optimistic about the future of this nation.

But perhaps there are some out there that believe that I am being too harsh.

So what do you think?

Dis61
